
2008 Inventor of the Year Award - Call for Nominations!
| The Rochester Intellectual Property Law Association announces a call
for
nominations to receive the 2008 Distinguished Inventor of the Year
Award. A formal award ceremony and reception will be held in the
Spring of 2008 to honor the award recipient(s). A single inventor,
or team of joint inventors, may be nominated by any RIPLA member to
receive the Award. To receive consideration for the 2008 Award,
nominations should be received by close of business, January 31,
2008. Nominations will be judged by a selection committee according to the following criteria:
Each nomination should include descriptive information and other material sufficient to advocate the election of the nominee to this honor. In order to facilitate the evaluation process, nominators are asked to provide the following information and consider the associated questions as a minimum requirement for their nomination:
Past nominations are eligible for re-nomination. Any materials that were previously submitted prior to the year of current nomination should be listed. Nominations should include the nominator's name, as well as the names of any suggested references, with addresses and phone numbers, to be contacted for further information on the nominee.
